Awards and recognition
Plenty of sites list a wall of badges and awards, some of them self-issued. We'd rather keep this page short and accurate than pad it with claims we can't back up.
Our approach to claiming recognition
If this site receives a specific, verifiable form of recognition — a citation from a reputable outlet, inclusion in a curated resource list, or a similar credential — we'll describe it here plainly, with enough detail that a reader could verify it independently. We won't list vague 'best of' badges that don't point to an actual source.
What recognition doesn't mean
Any recognition our editorial work receives is about the quality of our writing and research, not an endorsement of any specific security product, including Malwarebytes for Windows. We remain an independent publisher regardless of accolades.
How we'd rather be judged
Frankly, we think a track record of accurate, corrected-when-needed articles matters more than a badge. Our editorial policy explains how we handle corrections, and our reviews methodology page explains what our evaluation content actually covers, so you can judge us on substance.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have any awards to show?
If and when we receive verifiable recognition, we list it here with enough detail to check the source. We avoid vague, unverifiable badges.
Does recognition mean a product is endorsed?
No. Recognition of our writing is separate from any opinion about a specific product's quality.
How do you handle mistakes in past articles?
We correct them and note the correction where relevant; see our editorial policy for details.
